At the other end of the line is the iconic, fairytale, moated Castle Bodiam, which has changed little in 600 years and featured in the movie Wonka!
Enjoy a lazy summer afternoon soaking up the tranquillity of the River Rother (1 mile away) and hire a rowing boat, glide effortlessly past the reed beds and spot a kingfisher or heron. No holiday would be complete without a trip to the vast expanse of golden sand dunes at Camber, glorious in the sunshine, and invigorating when the sea breezes blow. You could even try your hand at kite surfing!
